General Information

Our faculty was built by the decree of the Council of Ministers dated 16.12.2011 and numbered 2605. The opening of three departments under the faculty was considered as appropriate by the Council of Higher Education. Its education started in 2013-2014 academic year with 203 students.  

           Our faculty aimed at raising expert theologians in the field of theology with its undergraduate education for extending true understanding of religion in the society on the one hand. On the other hand, it targets to contribute to the science world and raise expert academicians in particular areas deeply by its graduate education.  

         Our alumni have an opportunity to become teacher of the culture of religion and knowledge of ethics in the primary and secondary schools of the Ministry of Education in addition to being teacher of profession in imam hatip high schools. Furthermore, they can take a position of imam hatip, chaplaincy, mufti in the Directorate of Religious Affairs. In addition to the aforementioned positions, our alumni are able to be academicians if they make particular progress in their fields.
